Love Dale Residential School promotes value-based education. We give more focus on the character development of students. The School believes that art, music, and dances are related to learning and are not just extracurricular activities still. We can provide many occasions for the students to exhibit their skills. Several clubs and forums are functioning in this school to foster the personal and interpersonal skills of the students. These activities will help the students to take an interest in the arts, such as dance, music, drama, etc., and literary items such as recitation, creative writing, elocution, etc. This helps them to learn the importance of teamwork.
Competitions are held in co-curricular and extracurricular activities. We are building up confidence, team spirit, and creativity, and tapping the artistic potential. Many factors constitute Love Dale Residential School’s identity and achievements. Student’s participation is appreciable and inspiring. They participated enthusiastically and interestingly. Some of the prestigious competitions where our students have been proving their caliber in the CBSE South Zone Sahodaya.
Every child gets an opportunity to participate in the various events in the literary and arts fest. Literary competitions include Recitation, creative writing, Elocution, Storytelling, Extempore, drawing, painting, digital paintings, etc. and Arts competitions include Group Dance, Folk Dance, Oppana, Thiruvathira, Duffmutt, etc. They have shown spectacular performance in various items. Students who got 1st positions are selected for Sahodaya. Some students stood first in the individual and group items, in the South Zone Sahodaya. These excellent performances of students have been selected for state level also. Our students participated in many events which ended in winning many prizes in competitions. Our school team has participated in various inter-school competitions & won many prizes.
The achievements of the students of previous years are worth preserving and keeping their memories fresh. The Duffmuttu team, oppana team, and folk dance brought honor to school by bagging many trophies. Their participation in Arabic Recitation, Hindi Recitation, Malayalam Recitation, and Elocution English got a very good position in Sahodaya Arts.

Sohodaya Athletic Sports Meet 2016-17 was conducted on August 26 and 27 at the university stadium Trivandrum by the host school Christ Nagar. From our school, 29 boys and 19 girls participated in various athletic meets.

Sohodaya Athletic Sports Meet 2017-18 was conducted on August 15 and 16 at the university stadium Trivandrum by the host school Christ Nagar From our school 24 boys and 15 girls participated in various athletic meets.
Kerala State Sports Council conducted an athletic meet on 20 January 2018 at Chandrasekhar Nair Stadium Trivandrum. In our school a boys and girls participated.
200m – IInd – Vimal also participated in state-level
On 19th Aught 2017 a kho-kho match was conducted at New Jyothi Central School Udayakulangara by Sahodaya. From our school, 10 students participated in the event.
This academic year 2024-25 the club tries to make aware of important activities related to science. Provide equal opportunities for both students and teachers to witness Science Exhibition held at various levels.
Aims at promoting interest in concepts in Mathematics and exploring the mathematical world
Literary Club is formed to enhance literary skill among children. All are not gifted but a few are gifted which can shine. We should find the talented ones who can collect the beads from the depths of the Ocean. The beads refer to stories, poems, essay writing, report writing interview, etc. It should come out of from the heart of the students like a fountain without any obstacles. So that all the imagination can be created in the world with hope and compassion in flying colors.
Creative human activities florist art by which materials are shaped to convey ideas, emotions, or visuals to attract individuals. It includes various modes of expression. Art means to analyze the desire of a man to express himself and his personality in the habitat where he survives. Our school provides enough opportunities for students to exhibit their hidden talents in both arts & crafts. The art club members are highly active and able to conduct art exhibitions at various levels. They can conduct workshops.
Our school is always focusing on imparting moral things along with the facilities of modern technologies to improve the social and personal lives of the students. The club will organize different programs to fulfill the religious practices.
To develop taste towards knowledge of history and the historical aspects both nationally and internationally, Philately club was formed in the school.
Postal Department conducted a postal exhibition and on the same day Philately Club was inaugurated in the school. Ms. Kala and Ms. Sumi were placed in charge of the club.
Stamp Design Competition (13th Oct, 2022)In conjunction with the activities of the Philately Club, stamp design competition was held in school by the postal department. Students expressed their creativity in the canvas provided by the postal department and the designs were handed over to the postal department by the school for the further.
To curb the menace of substance abuse among youngsters in the society as per the instruction of the CBSE as well as the CBSE Managements Association, Love Dale Residential School has initiated the formation of an Anti-narcotics Club on 12th October, 2022. The club envisages every student of the school to be goal oriented and innovative in protecting oneself and others against drugs and alcohol. The activities of club include sensitization programs through awareness classes, poster exhibitions, and other such activities. The club is headed by Ms. Shabita S and Ms. Sindhu Ramachandran.
The inauguration of the club was done by Mr. Sajeev Divakaran, a senior Govt. Gazetted Officer, Govt. of Kerala. He is a Mind Management Trainer, Life Style and Food Style Mentor, Trainer on Stress Management, Trainer on Work Life Balance, Trainer on Drug Abuse Awareness, Motivational Trainer and Speaker, Psychotherapist and Counselor, Trainer on Public Speech, Govt. of India Certificated Training Need Analysis Consultant, Govt. of India Certificated Designer of Trainings (DoT), and Govt. of India Certificated DTS (Direct Training Skills) Trainer. The resource person led the class with the introduction of the types of drugs, types of addictions, how it affects the youth, the harmful effects of drugs on human body, various experiences from different parts of the state bringing out the hidden dangers, and finally stressing on the fact that addiction is treatable and prevention is always better than a cure. to curb the menace of substance abuse among youngsters. The club envisages every student of the college to be goal oriented and innovative in protecting oneself and others against drugs and alcohol. The activities of club include sensitization programs through awareness classes, poster exhibitions, organizing campaigns etc. The resource person also stressed on the behavioral changes that are probable in the teenage and how to deal with peer pressure and develop one’s identity.
Students of classes V -XII keenly listened to his words and interacted with the resource person positively. Both the teachers and the students found the class interesting. The session also had the students take an anti-drugs pledge as specified by the CBSE and Govt. of India. Students were asked to have active participation in club activities and make the service of the club a service to the society at large. The session concluded with National Anthem and a memento presented by the Principal in the absence of the manager on behalf of the school management to the resource person.

Elevating the spirit of leadership, service, and contribution, the installation ceremony of the Interact club of the Love Dale Residential School for the academic session 2023-‘24 was held on 25th August 2023 with the lighting of the lamp by Rtn. Sudeep Kumar, President, Rotary Club Thiruvananthapuram Central and the Chief Guest of the School Onam Celebrations. Rtn. Flight Lieut. Shibu Varghese motivated the students to join the Interact Club by narrating the Eagle-Chick story of flying high in the sky with perseverance and hard work.
The students of the interact club performed a physical fitness dance as practiced by the Japanese every day early in the morning to commemorate the installation ceremony of the club. Prof. Dr. Jawaharlal, the Director spoke on the importance of developing leadership skills and personal integrity, demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others, and advancing international understanding and goodwill. He also told the members of the club help to develop and carry out a wide variety of service projects. He then invited Rtn. Sathyan, Chairman, of the District Interact Club, from Kollam, urged the Interact Club members to overcome the obstacles and to be leaders by realizing the energy inside them. He also explained the role of the members of the Club and presented the formal registration form to the School Manager, Ms. Shahida Beevi, while the Director, Principal Dr. Annamma George, Honorary Supervisor Mrs. Dhurga Jawaharlal, Headmistress Ms. Sheeba M.S and Supervisor Ms. Dhanya Das witnessed the event. This followed the vote of thanks by the club in charge Ms. Jisha Rani.
